‘An evangelistic classic. It is meticulously biblical in both its arguments and its illustrations.’ — GRACE MAGAZINE
Book Description
This book is written for seekers – for people who want to give sensible and honest thought to the whole question of their relationship to God. It is not an examination of all the world’s religions which ends by saying, ‘Now choose the one you like best’. It is not a scientific text-book, which turns religion into equations and faith into a formula. It is not a vague and airy-fairy collection of various points of view.
It is a plain, straightforward book showing how a person who is honestly seeking for God can find him.

michael adedeji –
Sometime in 1988 or 1989 I came across this wonderful book through a friend. It was through this book I was able to make a concrete, definite decision about the salvation of my soul, because it clearly told me the place and reason/purpose of the blood of Jesus in the redemption contract. It was on the basis of this knowledge that I asked God for the forgiveness of all my sins, and also asked Jesus to be my personal Lord and Savior!
Andrew Young –
An excellent little book by John Blanchard. It is written, as he says in the introduction, for ‘seekers.’ That is, those who wish to know about how they can be right with God. Blanchard begins by giving a very strong case for the Bible as the Word of God. He then goes on to describe something of God’s character and man’s need. He then goes on to clearly show from the example of the Apostle Paul, that no matter what our background, or how hard we try, we can still not be right with God through our own efforts.
Blanchard then points to the answer, which is found in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. He gives us strong evidence for Jesus’ claim to be the Son of God, shows us the significance of His death on the cross, and then gives further evidence for the resurrection of Christ. The book ends with a call for repentance and faith in Christ. If someone has done this, he goes on to show the wonderful opportunites that a Christian has as they go on in life.
I thought this book was an excellent exposition of the Gospel. it is well presented and easy to read. You should get through it in a few hours. If you are a ‘seeker’ then I advise you to get hold of this book. It contains a vital message.
