Born in Aberdeen in 1943 and educated in Scotland and South Wales, Andrew Swanson entered the Christian ministry in 1970 when he was called to serve Geneva Road Baptist Church, Darlington, Durham. His influence was being increasingly valued in Britain when, in 1983, he responded to a call to serve Christ in the Middle East, where he now makes his home. He is the author of the the Trust’s booklet, Whom Shall I Marry?.
