Book Description
Present day conditions’, writes the author, ‘call loudly for a new examination and new presentation of God’s omnipotence, God’s sufficiency, God’s sovereignty. From every pulpit in the land it needs to be thundered forth that God still lives, that God still observes, that God still reigns. Faith is now in the crucible; it is being tested by fire, and there is no fixed and sufficient resting-place for the heart and mind but in the throne of God. What is needed now, as never before, is a full, positive, constructive setting forth of the Godhood of God.’
N.B. From time to time we receive questions about the editing of the Banner of Truth edition (first printed 1961) of A. W. Pink’s The Sovereignty of God. Chapter 16 of Iain H. Murray’s The Life of Arthur Pink, which can be read here, deals at length with these questions.

John C Petroski –
The book was instrumental to my moving from arminiamism to reformed theology. I’ve read a few other books by Pink and they never let me down.

I cannot recommend this book enough! It has taken me some time get through it, as I try to digest all its content; but, wow! It is so rich and I can’t help but worship God more while reading it!
